The National Bank of Ukraine has updated the format of its flagship Visnyk of the National Bank of Ukraine, turning it into a series of publications that serves as a single platform for the NBU’s research output. The revamped Visnyk will publish two types of research. Working papers will present early-stage academic research to stimulate discussion and gather feedback from researchers and policymakers, while Occasional papers will provide concise analytical publications and technical reports to support policy decision-making, including thematic studies, analytical notes, conference proceedings and other applied work. Publications will remain open-access and free of charge, continue to undergo internal and external peer review, and be published in English with abstracts in Ukrainian. The platform also remains open to external submissions aligned with the NBU’s research priorities, with authors retaining full copyright.
