Vietnam State Securities Commission requires VND 1 million fee payment and sets one-year collection deadline for securities practice certificates

The Vietnam State Securities Commission has issued a notice instructing individuals named in an attached list to pay the statutory fee for issuance of securities practice certificates to complete their licensing procedure. The fee is VND 1,000,000 per person, applied under Ministry of Finance Circular 25/2022/TT-BTC, and can be paid either by bank transfer to the Commission’s accounts or in person at the Commission. For bank transfers, the payment reference must include the recipient’s name, identity document number and the type of securities practice certificate being issued. If a person granted a securities practice certificate does not complete the procedure to receive the certificate within one year of the notice, the Commission will issue a decision cancelling the certificate.
