Hong Kong’s Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau announced that the Chief Executive has appointed Mr Benjamin Hung Pi-cheng as Chairman of the Financial Services Development Council (FSDC) Board of Directors, alongside a set of reappointments and new appointments to the board. The appointments take effect from 17 January 2025 for a two-year term. The Chief Executive reappointed the incumbent Vice-Chairmen, Ms Ding Chen, Mr Daniel R Fung, SC and Mr Andrew Walter Bougourd Ross Weir. Four new members were appointed, Mr Edward Au Chun-hing, Ms Aveline San Pau-len, Mr Tony Tang Xiaodong and Ms Daisy Yeung, while four incumbent members were reappointed, Dr Adrian Cheng Chi-kong, Mr Damien Allen Green, Mr Jeremy Dinshaw Lam and Ms Amy Lo Choi-wan. The Bureau also noted the outgoing Chairman, Mr Laurence Li Lu-jen, SC, and outgoing members Ms Diana Cesar, Ms Lena Chan, Mr Brian Li Man-bun and Dr Lin Yong.

The Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau of Hong Kong announced Mr. Benjamin Hung Pi-cheng as Chairman of the Financial Services Development Council Board, effective 17 January 2025 for a two-year term. The Chief Executive also reappointed the incumbent Vice-Chairmen and appointed four new board members, while reappointing four existing members. The Bureau acknowledged the outgoing Chairman, Mr. Laurence Li Lu-jen, SC, and several outgoing board members.
