The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has announced that Baker Tilly International has established a new member firm in the United Arab Emirates through DIFC, expanding the professional services network’s presence in the market. The Dubai-headquartered firm will operate under an audit licence issued by the Dubai Financial Services Authority, and is positioned as a specialist with experience in financial services. DIFC and Baker Tilly said the DIFC platform will support servicing clients with complex cross-border needs across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, combining local capability with access to international expertise within the Baker Tilly network. The release also highlighted Baker Tilly’s regional leadership appointments made last year, naming Chakib Zaari as Regional Chair for the Middle East and Africa and Gagik Gyulbudaghyan as Regional Director.
