The National Bank of Georgia announced that Georgia will host the Tbilisi Finance Summit on Oct. 27-28, with this year's theme focused on building regional economic corridors at the intersection of policy, finance and technology. The event is being jointly organized by the National Bank of Georgia, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and Singapore's Global Finance and Technology Network. The two-day summit will bring together central bank governors, fintech and financial sector participants, international companies and technology representatives. Its program includes thematic sessions, panel discussions, workshops and professional meetings covering cross-border economic and financial corridors, fintech development, open banking, artificial intelligence and Georgia's role as a regional platform for financial innovation. A hackathon is also planned. Registration for participants and media remains open until Oct. 20.
