The Central Bank of Egypt hosted a high-level delegation from the Bank of Tanzania, led by its Deputy Governor, as part of a joint cooperation programme focused on knowledge exchange in digital transformation, FinTech and payment systems. During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the Central Bank of Egypt’s work on FinTech, electronic payments, cybersecurity and data science, alongside its approach to developing and implementing regulatory frameworks. Discussions also covered corporate governance, internal policies and human resources management, with Deputy Governor Rami Aboulnaga receiving the delegation and highlighting the sharing of Egypt’s experience in digital banking services.
