The Superintendency of the Securities Market of the Dominican Republic has launched the official website of its Investor Education and Protection Department (ProInversionista), creating a public portal designed to bring the securities market closer to citizens through clear guidance, accessible services and educational resources. The platform is intended to serve as a direct channel for consultations, complaints, claims and reports linked to the securities market. The website, proinversionista.gob.do, is organised around Investor Service for handling queries and claims, Financial Education for training materials and guides, and a Virtual Classroom for interactive, ongoing learning about investing and how the securities market operates. At the launch event, Superintendent Ernesto Bournigal and Intendent Ángel Serulle pointed to the development of plain-language educational content, while ProInversionista head Lissette Ramírez framed the initiative around educating and promoting the securities market through responsible practices and clear information.
