The Japan Financial Services Agency (JFSA) and the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) held a face-to-face bilateral meeting in Tokyo to exchange views on insurance regulatory and supervisory developments and to explore closer cooperation. Discussions covered recent insurance regulatory and supervisory matters, including key issues under consideration at the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS), reflecting the increasingly cross-border nature of insurers’ activities and the growing importance of coordination among national insurance supervisors.
