The National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan hosted the 42nd meeting of the Coordinating Council on professional training for staff of central (national) banks at its training centre in Guliston. The Council reviewed implementation of the 2024 professional training programme, discussed its activity report for the first half of 2025, approved the 2026 work plan and elected the Council’s leadership. Participants included members from the Bank of Russia, the Central Bank of Armenia, the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus, the Central Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic and the National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan. In opening remarks, the National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan’s head of staff management, Ozoda Saydvalieva, highlighted the Council’s role in organising training activities to raise staff expertise in key areas of the banking system and to support cooperation and experience-sharing among central banks.
