The Central Bank of the Philippines (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas) issued a circular letter informing BSP-supervised financial institutions that it has authorised Highland Rural Bank, Inc. to change its corporate name to HIGHLAND RURAL BANK, INC. doing business under the name and style of HighlandBank (a rural bank). The BSP authorisation was granted on 21 March 2025. The Securities and Exchange Commission later approved the bank’s amended Articles of Incorporation and amended By-Laws reflecting the new corporate name on 9 June 2025.

The Central Bank of the Philippines has authorized Highland Rural Bank, Inc. to change its corporate name to HighlandBank. The Securities and Exchange Commission approved the amended Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws on 9 June 2025.
