The National Bank of Serbia published its latest inflation expectations survey results, showing that financial sector expectations eased while remaining within the central bank’s target band. In the Ninamedia survey, one-year expectations fell to 3.5% in July from 3.6% in June, while the August Bloomberg survey showed short-term expectations declining to 3.9% from 4.0%. Financial sector medium-term expectations stood at the 3.0% target midpoint in July. Two-year expectations declined from 3.5% in June, while three-year expectations remained at 3.0%. Corporate sector short- and medium-term expectations stayed at 5.0% for a fourth consecutive month, while the corresponding household measures remained unchanged at 10%.
