The National Bank of Serbia published operational statistics for its RTGS system, Clearing System, Interbank Foreign Currency Clearing System and International Foreign Exchange Clearing System for April 2025, reporting volumes, values and system availability. Across RTGS and the Clearing System, 19.0 million payments were processed over 20 working days, with no downtime and 100.0% availability. Of total payments, 18.1 million (95.0%) were processed in RTGS and 0.9 million (5.0%) in the Clearing System, with an average of 951,366 payments per day (903,960 RTGS and 47,406 Clearing). RTGS turnover totalled RSD 17,288.4bn versus RSD 24.6bn in the Clearing System (0.1% of total value), with average daily turnover of RSD 864.4bn and RSD 1.2bn respectively; production time across RTGS and clearing was 11,100 minutes with 100.0% availability. In the Interbank Foreign Currency Clearing System and the International Foreign Exchange Clearing System, which has 21 participants, transactions totalled EUR 172,178,725.25 and availability was also 100.0%.
