The National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan announced that Governor Firdavs Nazrimad Tolibzoda traveled to Thailand to attend the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group Annual Meetings in Bangkok from Oct. 12 to 18, 2026. The meetings will address the global economic outlook, financial stability, economic and financial challenges, sustainable development and poverty reduction. Tajikistan’s delegation will participate in high-level meetings, seminars and international forums focused on global economic developments and financial risks. It will also hold discussions with international financial institutions on future cooperation in the banking sector.
