The Ghana Securities and Exchange Commission has reopened its consultation on draft guidelines for legal practitioners and lawyers providing professional services in the capital market. The draft guidance covers legal services provided to Securities and Exchange Commission licensees and public companies operating within the capital market. The draft market version was first published on 15 September 2025 as part of the commission's stakeholder consultation process. The commission said it had received no feedback by 10 June 2026 and has therefore decided to allow a further opportunity for comments, with submissions due by 30 June 2026.
