The website claims to offer buyer refunds, unauthorized transaction reporting and transaction support, but has no affiliation with HKICL or its business. The website seeks users’ identity documents, photographs and phone numbers by offering cash rewards for identity verification. It also requests bank account details for deposits and withdrawals through a purported virtual wallet and directs users to fraudsters posing as customer service personnel. HKICL does not provide FPS services directly to individuals and does not ordinarily contact members of the public proactively. People who suspect fraud should report it promptly to the police.
