The Argentina Superintendency of Insurance issued Resolution 14/2026 updating how insurers report lawsuits and mediations, changing both the submission process and the underlying data model under point 39.6.4 of the General Regulation of Insurance Activity. The changes are intended to shorten reporting deadlines and collect additional information to support more precise desk-based analysis of the profile and impact of litigation. Reporting is now due on the same date as the financial statements, with a submission deadline set at 40 calendar days from the end of each quarter. The dataset adds four new fields, including the deductible amount applied to the reserve, the coverage limit amount, and the insurer’s participation percentages in the case, while the judicial case file number and procedural status become mandatory for lawsuits. The annex to point 39.6.4 is removed and replaced with a Technical Manual. The revised requirements apply from the 2025-4 reporting period, which will have an exceptional deadline of Monday, 2 March 2026.
