The Bank of Thailand reported that Governor Dr. Sethaput Suthiwartnarueput participated in a panel at the BOAO Forum For Asia 2025 Annual Conference in Hainan Province, the People’s Republic of China, focused on “Pursuing Monetary and Financial Stability in an Unstable World”. He set out his views on the challenges facing emerging Asian economies and the monetary policy approaches to addressing them. The discussion highlighted that these challenges are creating higher economic and financial uncertainty than in the past, and also covered approaches to managing public and household debt to support sustainable solutions.
