The changes comprise four appointments to deputy head roles at departments and one transfer to the central bank's banknote printing house. Two of the appointments were made within the Banking Services Department, promoting the heads of the foreign reserve management and debt management divisions to deputy department head positions. The other promotions moved the head of program development in the Information Technology Department and the head of multilateral cooperation in the International Cooperation Department into deputy head roles in their respective departments. Separately, the head of state inspection in the Inspection Department was transferred to the Bank of the Lao's banknote printing house and appointed deputy head there. At the appointment ceremony, senior leadership linked the changes to broader personnel policy and to the rotation of duties and postings, with the aim of making operations more agile and broadening leadership experience across functions.
