The Central Bank of Armenia reported that Governor Martin Galstyan spoke at Amundi’s “Investment Outlook 2026: Keep it Turning” forum, focusing on how geopolitical and macroeconomic developments are affecting financial markets and the investment environment. He argued that heightened uncertainty requires central banks to reconsider traditional policy-making approaches, pointing to Armenia’s introduction of a new monetary policy risk-management framework and increased transparency. Galstyan identified persistent inflation, slowing growth in advanced economies, and increasing geopolitical polarization as key risks for the global economy. The panel also included Jean Mazedjian, Chief Executive Officer of Amundi-Acba, and Vincent Mortier, Group Chief Investment Officer and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Amundi Asset Management, who presented Amundi’s global investment outlook for 2026.
