The Egypt Financial Regulatory Authority issued Board Decision No. 82 of 2026 granting insurance companies and insurance pools an additional 15 days to present their annual financial statements to their general assemblies. The extension applies to financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2025, together with the accompanying disclosures, the external auditor’s report and the board of directors’ report, and moves the deadline to 15 May 2026 from 30 April 2026. The measure was introduced in response to requests raised by insurance company representatives in meetings with the FRA’s chairman, Islam Azzam.
