The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority has made the Insurance (Restricted Activities) (Amendment) Regulations 2026, which come into operation on 31 January 2026. The changes allow an authorised insurer or registered insurance manager under the Insurance Act 2008 to act as a Domestic Filing Entity in accordance with the Global Minimum Tax (Pillar Two) Order 2024. The regulations follow a targeted consultation (CP25-05) with authorised insurers and registered insurance managers held between 15 December 2025 and 12 January 2026.
