The Bank of Cape Verde and the West African Monetary Union Banking Commission signed a cooperation convention in Maputo on 17 May 2025, signed by Central Bank of West African States Governor Jean-Claude Kassi Brou and Bank of Cape Verde Governor Óscar Santos, to organise information and documentation sharing and to cooperate on the supervision and inspection of regulated institutions, including cross-border establishments.
