The Bank of Lithuania has published a revised pricing schedule for its CENTROlink payment system, cutting operating fees by 50% and adding a high-volume tier under which payments above 1 million per month are priced at EUR 0.003 each. The new fees took effect on 1 May 2025. CENTROlink has more than 130 participants, mainly electronic money institutions and payment institutions, and provides European Economic Area-licensed payment service providers with access to the Single Euro Payments Area via the Bank of Lithuania’s infrastructure. Access remains subject to quality and compliance standards, with ongoing assessment of activities, risks and reputation and a focus on anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing controls. The central bank is continuing to expand participation and is offering prospective payment service providers a personal consultation on joining CENTROlink.
