The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has opened a public consultation on a draft resolution to amend the rules governing credit bureau activity in Kyrgyzstan. The proposed changes would bring those rules into line with the April 29, 2026 amendments to the Law on the Exchange of Credit Information, specifically on the periods for which credit bureaus must retain credit information. The draft would amend the National Bank's 2016 rules on regulating credit bureau activity in the Kyrgyz Republic. Interested parties can submit comments on the proposal until June 29, 2026.
