The South Korea Financial Supervisory Service reported that foreign investors sold a net KRW 31.664 trillion of listed stocks in July 2026, marking a seventh consecutive month of net selling. They bought a net KRW 2.388 trillion of listed bonds, extending the run of net bond purchases to four months. Combined activity resulted in a net outflow of KRW 29.276 trillion. European investors accounted for KRW 25.704 trillion of net stock sales, led by the United Kingdom at KRW 20.237 trillion, while U.S. investors bought a net KRW 3.452 trillion. Bond inflows were concentrated in Korean Treasury bonds, with net purchases of KRW 2.599 trillion. Foreign holdings stood at KRW 2,255.5 trillion for listed stocks, or 35.8% of market capitalization, and KRW 336.1 trillion for listed bonds, or 11.7% of the total listed bond market.
