Insurance Commissioner Dr Saqware pointed to TIRA-guided digital provision of insurance services through systems including TIRAMIS and ORS. TIRA linked digital delivery to easier customer access, wider distribution, greater innovation and stronger compliance within the insurance sector. The authority also described its participation in fintech forums as a way to strengthen collaboration between regulators, innovators and other digital-economy stakeholders, and to provide insurance education and awareness to students and technology entrepreneurs. Dr Saqware said TIRA plans to establish additional platforms to reduce the gap between institutions and young people, enabling youth to contribute views, showcase innovations and benefit from opportunities in the insurance sector.
