The Vietnam State Securities Commission’s Securities Research and Training Center branch in Ho Chi Minh City held a training course on applying artificial intelligence (AI) to stock analysis and valuation, targeting market participants seeking to strengthen practical capabilities in AI-enabled securities analysis. Held over four sessions, the course was organised into three modules covering (i) core approaches to stock analysis and valuation, (ii) AI applications in stock analysis and data processing, and (iii) integrating AI into valuation work. Participants included staff from securities companies, banks and other financial institutions, as well as individual investors; instruction was delivered by Le Hoai An, CFA, and opening remarks by the branch’s deputy head, Nguyen Van Quy, framed AI as increasingly central to analysis and investment decision-making.
