The Bank of Thailand and the Monetary Authority of Singapore signed a memorandum of understanding on cybersecurity cooperation and digital fraud protection, formalising and expanding their existing collaboration to strengthen cyber resilience and address digital fraud risks across their financial sectors. The framework covers three main areas. It provides for information sharing on cybersecurity and digital fraud, including regulatory and incident updates and threat intelligence affecting the financial sector. It also supports competency-building through joint staff training, study visits, and exchanges of research and policy insights. In addition, it includes operational preparedness through joint cross-border cybersecurity and crisis management exercises.
