Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and the Malaysia International Islamic Financial Centre (MIFC) Leadership Council announced the winners of the MIFC Global Impact Challenge 2025, naming e-Wakalah, Gobarakah and Koha Islamic Digital under the Social Resilience Track and Bagh-e under the Climate Resilience Track. The awards were presented at the Global Islamic Finance Forum 2025. The winners will receive cash prizes and up to 12 months of post-programme support to develop and scale their solutions, delivered by Asia School of Business’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (ASBhive) in collaboration with other global partners. The challenge received over 50 applications from 10 countries, shortlisted 29 teams for an accelerator programme, and selected ten finalists to pitch at Demo Day, with judging by senior representatives from BNM and the MIFC Leadership Council alongside global and knowledge partners.
