The Inter Governmental Action Group against Money Laundering in West Africa has published a notice of expression of interest covering nine individual consultant positions for the ECOWAS Gender Development Centre in Dakar. The recruitment spans accounting, procurement, IT, Anglophone and Francophone programme support, monitoring and evaluation, front desk, human resources and administrative support. Each role offers USD 12,000 per year and is structured as a full-time one-year assignment that may be renewed subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance. The notices show that EGDC is seeking to strengthen both its operational support and programme delivery functions. Most positions require at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least one year of professional experience, while the front desk role requires at least a technical diploma. Candidates must be proficient in at least one ECOWAS official language. Applications will be assessed on qualifications, role-specific experience and language proficiency, with a total score of 100 points, a minimum qualifying score of 70 points and interviews for the top three shortlisted candidates. Applications are due by February 24, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. GMT.
