The Insurance Supervision Agency of Montenegro reported that its representatives took part in the 23rd CESEE ISI meeting of insurance supervisors from Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe, held in Budapest and hosted by the Hungarian central bank (Magyar Nemzeti Bank). Discussions covered the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) process, the prudent person principle and crypto assets, challenges in implementing International Financial Reporting Standard 17 (IFRS 17), and an innovative supervisory and regulatory approach used in the Hungarian insurance market to promote household property insurance. The agency framed the meeting as a forum to exchange views on current supervisory topics and to strengthen bilateral cooperation with regional peers.
