The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank has revoked RBTT Bank Caribbean Limited’s licence to carry on banking business in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, effective 3 October 2025, under section 14 of the Banking Act, No 4 of 2015 (as amended). The revocation follows earlier restructuring steps under the Banking Act. In consultation with the ECCB Monetary Council, the ECCB approved the transfer of RBTT Bank’s shareholding to a consortium of banks on 1 April 2021 under section 43. RBTT Bank subsequently executed a Banking Business Vesting Order, gazetted in March 2022, transferring its banking operations to 1st National Bank St Lucia Limited; the transaction closed on 31 July 2022 and the transitional period ended on 30 June 2025. A Notice of Revocation will be published in the Gazette and a newspaper in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank has revoked RBTT Bank Caribbean Limited’s banking licence in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, effective 3 October 2025, under the Banking Act. This follows the transfer of RBTT Bank’s operations to 1st National Bank St Lucia Limited, completed on 31 July 2022, with the transitional period ending on 30 June 2025. A Notice of Revocation will be published in the Gazette and a local newspaper.
