The forbearance applies to individual insurance agents and individual insurance brokers whose licences expire between 1 October 2025 and 31 March 2026. Affected intermediaries may apply to extend the timeframe to complete their licence renewal within 15 days after the flood situation ends, but no later than 31 March 2026. The Office has also published implementation guidance and a Q&A to support impacted agents and brokers.
