The Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan approved eight individuals for senior insurance sector positions between Sept. 7 and Sept. 25, 2026. The approvals cover governing and executive body roles, an independent director, a chief accountant, other senior positions and the head of an insurance broker. The approved individuals are Kanat Aligulov, Rashid Amirov, Zhandos Abildayev, Kiril Bachvarov, Galymzhan Tireuov, Yerzhan Undybayev, Beibit Turysbekov and Kyalbi Mamedgasanov. Subject to statutory qualification requirements, an executive who has regulatory approval for a senior position may move to a comparable role within the same sector without obtaining additional approval.
