He participated as a panellist in a session on regional and international cooperation to prevent fraud and build a unified response to cross-border financial crime, emphasising the agency’s role in strengthening the regulatory and supervisory framework and advancing international cooperation. The event brought together central banks, regulators and industry representatives and covered topics including foreign-exchange interventions under divergent monetary policies, reserve portfolio adjustments and coordination between central banks and sovereign wealth funds. A further focus was the digital transformation of payment systems, including central bank digital currencies, stablecoins, instant payments and digital infrastructure, alongside discussion of public-private partnerships, cyber threats and cross-border strategies to mitigate financial and reputational risks.
