The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo published April 2026 statistics for other financial institutions, showing that assets of other financial intermediaries increased to EUR 778.84 million, up about EUR 13.02 million from the previous month, and insurance company assets rose to EUR 390.86 million, up about EUR 3.30 million. Pension fund assets stood at EUR 4.05 billion. Gross loans by other financial intermediaries reached EUR 578.42 million, EUR 8.53 million higher than in the previous period, while new lending in April totalled EUR 60.06 million. Households accounted for 59.04% of those loans. In insurance, balances with commercial banks represented 45.90% of assets, followed by securities and other assets at 23.86% and reinsurance participation at 19.21%. Pension fund assets were dominated by shares and other equity securities, which made up 81.75% of the total.
