The Financial System Supervisory Authority of Bolivia (ASFI) announced it has maintained its ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification following an external audit by the Bolivian Institute of Standardization and Quality (IBNORCA). The certification covers ASFI’s nationwide processes for handling public enquiries and managing consumer complaints. ASFI linked the outcome to its functions under Law No. 393 on Financial Services, including the defence and protection of financial consumers’ rights. It reported that from July 2023 to the present it handled 186,102 enquiries and 2,911 second-instance complaints, of which 2,185 were concluded in favour of the financial consumer.

The Financial System Supervisory Authority of Bolivia (ASFI) has retained its ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification after an audit by the Bolivian Institute of Standardization and Quality. The certification pertains to ASFI's processes for public enquiries and consumer complaints management. From July 2023, ASFI handled 186,102 enquiries and 2,911 second-instance complaints, resolving 2,185 in favor of consumers.
