The Bank of Portugal, together with the Portuguese Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Authority and the Portuguese Securities Market Commission, has launched the seventh edition of Portugal FinLab, opening a new application round for projects seeking regulatory analysis and feedback. Applications are open until 13 February. Candidates selected for pitch day will be notified by 2 March and will present their projects to the regulators on 17 and 18 March 2026; up to five projects will then be selected for analysis and announced on 13 April, after which participants will receive a written report and be able to meet the regulators to discuss the conclusions and clarify questions.
