The Capital Markets Board of Türkiye announced that, as national coordinator for Global Money Week, it arranged museum visits in Ankara and Istanbul to increase children’s financial awareness from an early age. Students from Cihangir Münir Özkul Middle School, Dr. Tevfik Sağlam Middle School and Hun Middle School visited the Ziraat Bank Museum and the Türkiye İş Bankası Economic Independence Museum in Ankara, and the Garanti BBVA Salt Galata Ottoman Bank Museum and the Yapı Kredi Museum in Istanbul. Nearly 150 students participated, learning about the historical development of money, savings awareness and the evolution of savings and banking culture through the museums’ educational content and workshop activities, with participating school representatives subsequently providing positive feedback and thanking the Board and contributing institutions.
