In remarks at the AMBA 360 congress, Argentina Securities Commission President Roberto E. Silva highlighted ongoing CNV rulemaking aimed at reshaping Argentina's capital markets, centred on the publicly consulted Big Bang package that would move issuance from a prior-approval regime to an information-filing model with automatic public offering authorisation. Silva said the proposal is intended to speed access to the capital markets by removing the need for prior CNV approval before issuance. He also pointed to continued work on a Fiscal Innocence regime for the capital markets and on future rules for Labor Assistance Funds, which he said would add long-term institutional investors to the market.
