Mexico's National Commission for the Protection and Defence of Users of Financial Services (CONDUSEF) published third-quarter 2025 scores for the AFORE sector under its User Service Performance Index (IDATU), which tracks how well institutions respond to customer complaints concluded at the authority. The sector scored 9 out of 10, a 0.04-point decline from the second quarter of 2025. IDATU assesses the quality of attention provided in CONDUSEF-led defense processes by evaluating response times, how institutions handle cases, and improvement actions aimed at ensuring substantive equality in service provision, including for vulnerable groups such as older adults. The highest-scoring AFOREs were Profuturo AFORE and Afore Inbursa (10 each), followed by Afore XXI Banorte and Afore Banamex (9.99 each), while Afore Invercap recorded the lowest score (6.71). CONDUSEF positioned the index as a transparency tool to support user decision-making and encouraged users to review AFORE performance before contracting and to assert their rights when service is inadequate.
