The Montenegro Capital Market Authority announced that board member Ana Pivljanin and independent adviser Sara Pejović took part in the 10th edition of the educational program jointly organized by the International Organization of Securities Commissions and Harvard Law School Executive Education. The program brings together financial market regulators to discuss supervisory practice and current market developments, with this edition focusing on changes in market structure, systemic risk management, international regulatory cooperation and the need to adapt regulatory frameworks to rapid technological change. Key sessions covered risk-based supervision, oversight of crypto-asset markets and digital financial services, operational resilience and cybersecurity, as well as the use of technology in supervision. The agenda also included anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism, the role of compliance functions in financial institutions, market abuse investigations and cross-border cooperation in enforcement, drawing on experience from regulators and experts from jurisdictions including the United States, Japan, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia and New Zealand.

The Montenegro Capital Market Authority said two of its representatives attended the 10th IOSCO and Harvard Law School Executive Education program for financial market regulators. Discussions focused on risk-based supervision, crypto-asset and digital finance oversight, operational resilience, cybersecurity, AML/CFT and market abuse enforcement.
