India's International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) and Norway's Financial Supervisory Authority (Finanstilsynet) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to formalise regulatory cooperation in areas of mutual interest. The MoU was virtually exchanged and operationalised on 13 February 2026. The arrangement is intended to support information sharing on market trends and best practices in financial market development, regulatory approaches and business structures, and to promote fitness and properness of licensed or registered persons alongside high standards of fair dealing and integrity. It also provides for cooperation to facilitate enforcement of laws, rules and regulations for financial products, services and institutions, and covers sharing information on technology applications, innovation, financial technology and regulatory technology.
