The National Bank of Moldova has completed a three-year institutional transformation project, delivered with support from the Center of Excellence in Finance in Ljubljana, to strengthen professional development and knowledge transfer. The initiative embedded continuous learning and knowledge sharing across individual, team and institutional activities. The project established stronger professional communities, development programs, learning tools and new collaboration mechanisms. The central bank plans to use these resources to develop staff, strengthen institutional capacity and expand knowledge exchange nationally and regionally, while continuing its cooperation with the center in a revised format. The project concluded during an international forum in Chișinău on learning organizations in the artificial intelligence era, which examined how institutions can adapt to AI-driven change while retaining human responsibility in decision-making.
