The Central Bank of Russia has launched Coin Week, a nationwide campaign running from 6 to 18 April 2026 that allows the public to exchange coins for banknotes at participating bank offices and retail outlets, or deposit coins into bank accounts. More than 16,000 stores and 4,000 bank offices across Russia are taking part. Coin Week has been held since 2023, during which over 215 million coins worth almost RUB 956 million have been returned to circulation.

The Central Bank of Russia has launched Coin Week, a nationwide campaign from 6 to 18 April 2026 enabling the public to exchange coins for banknotes or deposit them into bank accounts at participating bank offices and retail outlets. More than 16,000 stores and 4,000 bank offices are involved, and since its inception in 2023 the campaign has returned over 215 million coins worth almost RUB 956 million to circulation.
