Brazilian Pension Funds Authority (PREVIC) presented its ongoing Simplifica PREVIC initiative at a Ministry of Social Security event on 11 November focused on making government communications on pension matters clearer and easier for citizens to understand. The project involves reviewing all documents produced since January 2023 to adapt their language into a more direct and accessible form. The meeting brought together staff from the Ministry of Social Security, the National Social Security Institute (INSS) and PREVIC to share progress and challenges in introducing plain language across normative acts, websites, and public-facing forms and services, covering both in-person and digital communications. Participants highlighted reducing technical terms and acronyms to improve accessibility and help people navigate benefit-related information.
