The Central Bank of Barbados announced that it will present its review of Barbados' economy for the first six months of 2026 at a press conference on July 29. Governor Kevin Greenidge will provide an update on the main economic indicators and set out his outlook for the rest of 2026. The review will cover economic growth, Barbados' debt-to-GDP ratio, the level of international reserves, inflation and unemployment. The presentation will be livestreamed on the central bank's Facebook page and YouTube channel, and will be followed by a question-and-answer session with media and the public.
