The Albania Financial Services Authority (AMF) published end-2024 statistics for Albania’s collective investment undertakings market, showing net assets of around ALL 61.36 billion (EUR 625 million), up ALL 11.08 billion or 22.02% from end-2023. The number of investors increased to 37,786, a 17.39% rise year on year. Six AMF-licensed management companies operated in the market (four domestically owned and two foreign-owned), with 18 investment funds in total, including four alternative investment funds. Open-end public-offer funds accounted for ALL 55 billion (EUR 564 million) of net assets, up 21.83% versus end-2023. Portfolios were dominated by holdings of Albanian government securities (treasury bills and bonds) at 79.24% of investments, while 6.2% was invested in international financial markets; the largest fund was Raiffeisen PRESTIGJ with ALL 37.839 billion in net assets and 30,502 members.
