The Thailand Office of Insurance Commission took part in a handover ceremony for funding to hire contract teachers, along with educational equipment and teaching materials, under the 2026 Volunteer Insurance Teachers project. The initiative, carried out with the Thai Insurance Brokers Association and the insurance industry, is aimed at expanding educational access for children and young people in underserved areas, with the latest delivery made to Ban Mamuang Chet Ton School in Khok Samrong district, Lopburi province. This was the third project activity in 2026. The Office of Insurance Commission said the program responds to shortages of teachers in core subjects, especially mathematics and English, and combines support for school resources with lessons intended to build financial literacy, savings habits, insurance knowledge and risk management awareness among students. The next stage of the project will provide the same support package to Border Patrol Police School Tako Pidthong in Suan Phueng district, Ratchaburi province.
