The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced that Hong Kong Green Week 2026 will take place from 7 to 11 September under the theme “Future-proofing Sustainable Growth”, marking the third edition of the city’s flagship sustainability event. Coordinated by the HKMA, the programme will comprise a Main Programme of large-scale conferences and forums alongside Satellite Events including roundtables, workshops and seminars. Content will focus on six thematic areas: inclusive transition, climate adaptation and resilience, green technology, green trade and supply chain resilience, nature and biodiversity conservation, and investing for social impact. The release notes that the 2025 edition involved 65 institutions hosting over 40 events and attracted over 14,500 participants from more than 75 jurisdictions.
